Originally from the San Francisco area, I had been living in New Orleans until my family was exiled to Texas by Hurricane Katrina. We now live in Harker Heights, Tex-Ass, one-hour north of Austin. Married to a wonderful New Orleans woman, father to David (20), Cece (17), and Devin (7), and stepfather to Caitlin (22), and Jason (19). I had two shows at WWOZ until the storm, and I still meddle a bit with online radio. I am also a Professor of Sociology. I miss New Orleans very much….
