The New Orleans Arts District, NOAD is located in the historic American Sector, close to the Mississippi River and the world famous French Quarter. The renaissance of this area began with the 1984 World’s Fair, and today is a thriving neighborhood of art galleries and world-class museums, restaurants, shops and private residences. Anchored by Julia Street, the Arts District is a short walk away from the New Orleans Convention Center and Louisiana Super Dome and is home to 19 galleries and four museums.

Art Walks are hosted by the galleries in the evenings on the first Saturday of each month from 6-9pm.

As a designated Louisiana Cultural District, there is NO SALES TAX charged on any original works of art sold in the Arts District!
