Captain Green was formed in January of 2010 to bring a high-energy mix of Funk, Jazz, and Fusion to the music scene. Playing predominately in Baton Rouge and New Orleans, Captain Green frequents Chelsea’s Cafe, The Varsity, North Gate Tavern, The Roux House, The Maison in New Orleans. The band also plays festivals, private parties, and fundraisers; such as the Step Out Walk for Diabetes(2011) in Baton Rouge.

With a combined experience of 85 years playing music, including college degrees in Music Performance; Captain Green is anything but your normal band.
