Ladies In Red
May 20th, 2010

Proceeds will provide for the continuation of PRC’s
efforts to identify and preserve jazz landmarks in New Orleans and the revitalization of our
historic neighborhoods. Preservation Resource Center’s
African American Heritage Program (AAHP) focuses on identifying and preserving
the homes and cultural legacy of New
Orleans jazz musicians. It is important to save
the houses and to recognize the musicians who lived there, at the same time
generating awareness of the cultural significance of the older neighborhoods of
the city.
