Seeing Pink? October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Breast cancer is the second leading cause of cancer deaths among women in the United States. This year alone, approximately 200,000 will be diagnosed and 40,000 women will die from breast cancer. Knowing the signs of breast cancer and seeking early medical attention can greatly increase survival odds. Prevention is also extremely important. Knowing the factors that put you at risk for breast cancer and knowing what you can do to help prevent breast cancer from forming in the first place is crucial.
