Ludacris and 2-cent TV Particpated In Epic Book Drive For Post-Katrina New Orleans

Education, City Life, Louisiana/GulfCoast, Recovery

September 5th, 2011

You might have heard that Ludacris helped collect 250,000 books for New Orleans through DOSomething.org‘s Epic Book Drive campaign, but we wanted to make sure you knew that 2-cent (NOLA) was also a huge part of making the book drive a success upon delivery.

2-cent’s Brandan Odums organized volunteers to help “level” some of the books donated in the Epic Book Drive campaign. Volunteers met at Harriet Tubman Elementary in Algiers to help organize 3,000 books for their library.
More on this story here on NOLA.com.

Want to volunteer with 2-cent? Drop them a line (twocentonline at yahoo dot com) so they can add you to their volunteer roster. There will be plenty of opportunities in the future to be a part of this movement.
