Architecture & Preservation, City Life & Neighborhood, Events & Nightlife, Home & Garden

April 11th, 2012

Visit this charming c. 1842 bay Creole Cottage at 1518 N. Roman Street. The house was purchased by Roulhac Toledano, author of A Pattern Book of New Orleans Architecture at a sheriff’s sale, sight unseen. Despite structural damage, termites, and a crumbling façade, Toledano and her daughter saw great potential and are in the process of renovating it.

Date: Thursday, May 24

Time: 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.

Cost: $7, free for Preservation Resource Center members

Where: 1518 N. Roman Street, New Orleans, LA
