ABOUT RTNO: RTNO partners with local businesses, organizations, and associations during the first two weeks of October to help rebuild the homes of friends and neighbors. Over four days, hundreds of volunteers work on houses across New Orleans to improve the lives of their neighbors and friends. The lasting efforts of their hard work adds to the beautification of the neighborhoods, aids families struggling to return home, and provides accessibility for homeowners with disabilities and special needs to allow them to age in place safely. Since 1988, groups have returned year after year, providing the volunteers and resources needed to revitalize New Orleans neighborhoods. Last year alone, almost 500 local volunteers rehabilitated 17 homes.
