50 miles aint so bad

48.8 mile bike trip around the city…started at 11am-ish and covered some ground over the next 9 hours. The route is still here: zacksmithphoto.blogspot.com

Im thinking about doing it again soon, different route this time…but def. cover Bucktown to the 9th Ward and Algiers and back again.

Gold stars to the great friends who showed up along the route, and helped the fun continue – Miranda Lake for her Tequila snoballs (and Hansens…) and baby pool chill time – thanks to Michael Welch for putting together the show in his yard featuring Helen Gillet and Ray Bong…and everyone else on that cool drumpad. Big Rock Candy Mountain and The Other Planets for, well…rocking. And Kristen Preaux and that damn good jamby.
