The Chicago-Tribune’s Tom Enlund is reporting that Donald Thomas has become the fourth Riverside boys basketball player to earn a place in Div. I basketball, as he has committed to play his college ball at UW-Milwaukee.
A two-time member of the LSWA 2A All-State team, Thomas averaged 14 points per game last year for the state runners-up.
He joins Ricardo Gathers (Baylor) and Louis Dabney (Tulane) as notable players to emerge this season from the Riverside boys basketball program, which has won three state championships over the past four seasons.
