Mardi Gras Indian Hall of Fame 2012 Awards Ceremony

It’s that time of year again, Mardi Gras Indian Hall of Fame Memorial, Induction and Awards Ceremony – Sunday, July 29, 3:00 ~ 4:30 pm at Ashe Cultural Arts Center.
This year you may release a white rock dove in memory of a deceased Mardi Gras Indian for a cost of $25.00 at the memorial ceremony. Participation will include:
1) Release of Dove
2) Stating of deceased name, position, and gang
You must make a reservation to release a bird by July 6th. Cash payment is due by July 13th. If you desire to participate in the ceremony, please email mardigrasindianhalloffame@gmail.com with the name of the deceased Indian.
The Hall of Fame will release birds in honor of those Mardi Gras Indians who became ancestors this year.
