On May 24, a large portion of the building that houses the local nonprofit Women With A Vision was burned in an act that local authorities defined as arson. WWAV is geared towards helping the city’s most vulnerable residents, including sex workers and women who have been incarcerated. Tomorrow night, WWAV is hosting a fundraiser to maintain quality service for the women that depend upon the organization’s resources.
