MSY to Spirit Away Travelers in 2013

KENNER — Along with renovations and flights to Cuba, Louis Armstrong International Airport is bringing at least one new lost-cost air carrier into the mix starting in 2013. Spirit Airlines is getting into the mix at MSY, adding a budget airline to the terminal just in time for the Super Bowl, Mardi Gras and the rest of the bevy of festivities coming to New Orleans early next year.
