NOMA reopens to the public w/ FREE admission today

The New Orleans Museum of Art will reopen to the public on
Tuesday, September 11, at 10 am. The museum will welcome visitors for
free on Tuesday. Wednesdays are always free, thanks to the Helis
Foundation. Starting on Thursday, the museum will begin charging regular
admission and continue normal business hours.
New announcement:The
Leah Chase exhibition has been extended one week. The last day to view
“Leah Chase: Paintings by Gustave Blache III” is Sunday, September 16.
NOMA Friday Night events:Join us for Where Y’Art?! on Friday, September 14th as NOMA
celebrates two exhibitions: Dario Robleto: The Prelives of the Blues (on view until Sept. 16th) and Photography, Sequence, & Time (on view from Sept. 7th until Dec. 2nd). Programs include:
- 5pm to 8pm: Art Making Activity
- 5:30pm to 8:30pm: Music by Amanda Walker
- 6pm: Gallery Talk with Miranda Lash, Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art: Dario Robleto: The Prelives of the Blues
- 7:30pm: Gallery Talk with Russell Lord, Curator of Photographs, Prints, and Drawings: Photography, Sequence, & Time
