NOLA Fashion Week: Thursday Night Shows Feature Conscious, Cooperative Designs

Fashion is often written off as one of the more shallow art forms, but two local designers prove that social responsibility and locally produced materials are just as much a part of NOLA fashion as high-waisted shorts and strappy wedges. Lisa Iacono and Kallen Forster, who are both showing tonight at NOLA Fashion Week an established and emerging designer, respectively, both keep sustainability in mind when executing their artful garments.
